Especially in his stop-motion animated films, he is known for the exaggerated style of his characters, which still retain their serious, humanlike characteristics. Some of his wider known work includes: Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and Corpse Bride.
